This past week we flew out to see Dan's grandmother (Abuelita) and to let her meet Nathan. She has been sick off and on for a couple years and got real sick around Thanksgiving. Although she was still very tired and weak she was able to spend some good time with Nathan. Nathan was all smiles around both of his great-grandparents and we were so thankful for the time we got to spend with them. Abuelita(Dan's grandma) sung some sweet songs to Nathan and Abuelito(Dan's Grandpa) showed Nathan the piano, the guitar, their customary drink (mat'e) and even read some Scripture to him. Dan's Grandparents are some of the most loving people I know, and it melted my heart seeing Nathan light up when around them.
