We went to the beach last week and had such a FUN time. Our friends Adam and Karen and Charlie Blair got to come with us for the first couple of days before they headed to visit her parents who live down there. Nathan and Charlie had such a great time together (see other post)and it was so fun having some friends to hang out with while we were down there. The water was cold and it was a little windy but other than that the weather was perfect. Nathan loved the pool, especially when he was in his own float and could splash around, and he also loved to crawl all over the sand and loved for the ocean water to wash over his feet. It was quite different having a baby because you don't get to just sit back and relax and read(i read 4 pages of my book in the four days we were down there) but its fun in a different way because you get to see their excitement with every new thing. We had cajun steamed shrimp one night at the condo, went to the Original Oyster House one night, and had a cook-off the other night (see future post).
The Matteo Family: Dan, Ashley, Nathan and Luke. We are so grateful for our marriage, our family, and our friends. I post on this blog to keep a record of all the memories we make together. But above all I give the glory and gratitude to the One and Only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the Glory!
