I have been out of the blogging world for awhile simply because we have not been up to much. Its been so cold we hardly get outside and when we are its very brief and we are very bundled. However, this is not to say that we have not been having fun. Nathan keeps learning more and more things which amaze us. He knows what "beso" means (spanish word for kiss) and gives us both besos on the lips when Dan gets home from work. He learns new words weekly yet most of them are only the first syllable and only Dan or I know what he is saying. That is except for "cookie" which he says 20 million times a day and would eat that many if we let him. I have been trying to learn and work on some discipline issues but am still not sure how much he understands or what is the best technique. Mainly we are trying to instill good habits so we dont have to break bad ones later on. For example, when we were teaching him how to throw, we were so excited when he learned how to throw a ball or any other toy. But now he wants to throw everything(remote controls, sippy cup,....) and its usually directed at someone's head. So now we are trying to teach him to only throw balls. Lesson learned! We truly have a blast with him! The pictures above are him in front of his bear for his monthly photo op, Dan and Nathan on our first trip to the zoo(more pics in next post), and Nathan and Charlie bundled up at Star Lake looking at the geese who were sitting on top of the frozen lake.
