Mcwane Science Center

 

Thursday was a fun-filled day at the Mcwane Center. It was our first time and we had a blast. Karen and Charlie went with us, and our boys (and us mommies) had a ball. Nathan literally didnt stop RUNNING for one second. His favorite thing was the water exhibit on the first floor which he thoroughly drenched himself(note to me...do that last and bring an extra set of clothes). Also, the third floor is dedicated almost exclusivley to small children and was like a huge inside playground; it even had a floor piano like in the movie BIG. Other highlights were the shark tank and the big aquariums on the ground floor. I think Charlie actually took time to look at the fish but Nathan glanced at them as he zoomed from one tank to the next, to the next, to the next.... All to say, it was a great rainy activity and we may ask for a membership for our birthday next year. Oh, and Nathan fell asleep before we even made it out of the parking deck(he had literally ran ALL his energy out)!
