Homestead Hollow

After seeing all the sights we had a picnic and listened to some live music

Saw some other kids in the water so he had to try it out

Happy little camper

The little piggy was so cute

Giving the little chick a sweet kiss(hopefully we don't have bird flu now)

Nathan loved the live music and was getting into the action here with his "air guitar"

For Mother's Day Dan told me we could go for a fun family outing of my choice. So I chose to go to Homestead Hollow in Springville because I had never been before. We had a really great time. Its a gorgeous setting that is really spread out so you don't feel crowded with people and there is a stream that goes throughout the property and several old rustic lodges where people are making iron works, lye soap, and other trades. They have lots of craft and food booths and activities for the kids. The only catch is that it costs money to get in which was fine but then all the other activities cost as well. We did buy some food which was yummy and paid for the petting zoo but thankfully Nathan wasn't old enough to really be disappointed not to participate in the other activities. All and all i was thankful to go and we all had a great time.
