On the way back from the lake this weekend the boys were getting really antsy in the car because we had to leave the lake earlier than expected due to rain, so Dan and I decided to make a stop at Rickwood Caverns which is right off the interstate on one of the exits we pass on our way home. Dan and I had tried one time before years ago when we were first married to go here but they had a huge boyscout tour going on. Anyways, we got to go this time and we were the only ones on the tour (other than our guide) which made it nice. We all had fun getting to explore and Nathan really embraced the fact that he was in his batman shirt and going into a “batcave.”
