Here we go again for catch up time. Maybe my new years resolution should be to update my blog more. I do Facebook a lot more frequently now and my blog gets put on the back burner. But here we go.
We went with some friends to Guntersville, AL to see the replicas of Columbus’ ships the Nina and the Pinta. Then we went to the Lodge for a picnic, playtime, great views and hiking.
We all participated in a run at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. It was pretty but REALLY, REALLY hilly. Dan doesn’t love running at all but he manned up and did great. The boys did the One mile Run and both did wonderful. Nathan was my sprinter…walker…sprinter….walker. Luke started off slow but once he heard all the people cheering (who wouldn’t cheer for such a cutie) he picked up the pace and almost ran the whole time, with a big smile on his face the whole time.
A huge leaf we found in the gardens and then a gorgeous yellow tree with my handsome hubby!
My parents were in town for the run and then we all headed over to Samfords campus for their homecoming parade and later on the football game. A great day full of fun!
Leaf time!!!! Daddy rakes them, boys play in them.
My favorite place to hike in Huntsville.
Spoiler alert, may see some of these pics on our Christmas card. Love these two boys!
Grammy and Luke feeding the geese.
Nathan and Annie on the trails
My boys are getting so big. Love them so much!!!!
