Family in town

Over this past weekend we had a lot going on, but one of the best aspects of the weekend was having both of our families in town. Dan's parents and his niece, Gaby, came in on Friday at lunch time which allowed them a good amount of time to visit and play with Nathan. Gaby and I took a walk in the neighborhood and then dressed up to go visit our neighbors for Halloween. She was a good sport to humor me. Then on Saturday morning my parents came into town and my mom was a huge help with Shireen's shower and my dad helped do some work in the back yard now that its all cleared out. Later on in the afternoon we all packed up and went out to the Moss Rock Preserve Festival which was a lot of fun. The weather was great, there were plenty of talented artitsts, and the setting was gorgeous with all the plantation style homes out and the leaves beginning to change colors. On Sunday we had Nathan's baby dedication. My brother was able to come down from Huntsville and I got to see several friends at church. Afterwards we all went home for taco soup and just relaxed and enjoyed even more time with sweet Nathan.
