Dedicated Unto the LORD
Along with all the other festivities of the weekend, the most important and special time was on Sunday morning when we dedicated sweet Nathan to the Lord. Dan and I have been praising the Lord for Nathan since we found out we were pregnant, and especially since he was born in August. However this Sunday was a special time because both of our families were together, along with several of my closest friends, and we got to present Nathan to the congregation. Our wonderful pastor, Tim, asked both the fathers and mothers as well as the congregation if we would promise to raise Nathan up to know and trust the Lord. We emphatically answered "Yes", and Dan read the verse Proverbs 23:26 "My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes keep to my ways." It was also so much fun to have our good friends Dana and Chris dedicate Wells, and Karen and Adam dedicate Charlie at the same time as us.

This is THE most important dedication you'll ever experience! You've been dedicated to our LORD, and He loves you SO much...words cannot even explain how much He loves you!
We are praying that you, too, will one day very soon come to know Him personally as your Savior and Lord.
Ashley, Dan, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for letting me be a part of this HUGE day in Nathan's life! I've been blessed to see you guys get married and now dedicate your first child on that platform! May God continue to shine through your lives and your family! In Jesus' name. AMEN!
