Last night, November 12th, was Dan and my three-year anniversary. Wow how time flies when you're having fun! These past three years have been absolutely wonderful and we praise the Lord for His many blessings. To celebrate we went out to eat at La Mesa which is a Spanish restaurant in 5-points and has both tapas style portions and regular-sized entrees. It was really yummy and we would recommend it to others. We did bring Nathan and he behaved himself very well. Dan also bought me some really pretty flowers and got me a sweet card (he always spoils me, even when we are on a budget!). I also wrote up some fun questions to talk about during and after dinner (suggestion from my friend Shireen) which was fun because we got to reminisce over the last 3 years and find out even more new things about each other. Some of the questions were:
-if you had the day to yourself what 3 movies would you rent
-if you could play a leading role in any movie which one would it be
-what makes you laugh the most about the other person
-if you had $1000 to spend on yourself/your spouse what would you buy
-what has been your favorite date in the past
-if money wasn't an option what would be your ideal date
-what has been your favorite part of marriage in this past year
-what is your favorite thing about your child/pet
-what 3 things do you want to do this year together
I know girls are more in to the questions than guys but Dan actually enjoyed this time of discussion, so i would suggest this tactic for yall to try if you want to liven up a date night.

Oh, Ashley! I'm so impressed! First of all, way to go on your anniversary date WITH Nathan!! AWESOME! I prayed that he would be good and at peace while out and about, too! God is great! The picture of you three is so cute! :)
Second, YOU, my dear, look FANTABULOUS! You always do! Truly! Praise the Lord for the perspective and joy that HE has given to you!

Okay, and by the way, I dreamed of you guys last night. I was helping you clean house, Ashley. You had three children of your own, and you had adopted one! :) How sweet is that, girl! You were specifically telling me that you just couldn't hold back from adopting y'all's 4th child! Praise the Lord for however HE leads. It was a sweet and fun dream!

Just wanted to say Hi! The pictures are great. Congrats on your 3rd anniversary - May God continue to bless you three. Way to go Ashley with your 5K run. We love you guys. Ama can't wait to get back home and finish Nathan's blanket - she's praying the Lord will allow her to finish it and be able to hold Nathan.
