One of the highlights of our time in Houston was a day trip to San Antonio. We toured around the Alamo and the church where Davy Crockett was buried while I was reminded of some U.S. History that I had long forgotten. Then we headed to the Riverwalk which was my favorite part of San Antonio because its outside and full of gorgeous trees and flowers as well as having lots of fun shops and quaint cafes along most of the strip. We took a boat tour along the entire Riverwalk area and then finished our day eating at a Mexican restaurant overlooking the river.
