Easter Sunday at church

 

 

 

 

Let us not forget the best part of Easter; Easter Sunday at church. Our pastor did a dramatic monologue of Barrabas who was the prisoner who was set free and Jesus took his place. The songs, monologue, and discussion after the monologue was a great time to reflect and acknowledge that Christ, although perfect Himself, took our place on the cross(for we are all sinners like Barrabas). Yet we as Christians get to also celebrate how our Savior not only died a horrific death, was also raised 3 days later victoriously so that we can have a living God and eternal life with Him. It was a great service and time to spend with family and friends. It was neat to be able to take pictures with Karen and Adam Blair with Charlie, and Dana and Chris Sheheane with Wells because we all dedicated our boys on the same day back in Novemeber. We hope we get to see these boys grow up together to be men of God, just like their daddies! Heidi and Isaiah are looking good in their Easter best.
