The Lodge at Gorham's Bluff

 

 

 

 

Last Thursday was Dan and my 4 year anniversary. The Lord continues to astonish us in His continual blessings! Dan truly is the perfect husband! He brought home a dozen roses last Thursday and after we put Nathan down our neighbor came by so we could go out for dessert. We went to Satterfields in Cahaba Heights. The desserts were great and it was so nice to be out at a fancy place and not feel rushed. Then on Friday we drove up to Hunstville to spend the night with my parents. We left early Saturday morning to go up to Gorham's Bluff which is outside of Scottsboro and Fort Payne. My parents kept Nathan all weekend and we enjoyed our first day and night alone without a baby. The lodge at Gorham's Bluff was gorgeous, the weather was spectacular and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful time getting outside hiking and biking and also relaxing on our balcony. On our way home we stopped by another hiking trail we saw on our drive up there, and then we headed back to get Nathan.(I was ready to see him after 2 days for sure).
