Tannehill state park continues to be one of our favorite family outings and this stream is always the hot spot. The boys usually just throw rocks in the water for over an hour before a short hike and then lunch but with the hot weather we had this weekend Nathan decided he wanted to up the anny on the fun and get in the water himself(it didn't hurt that there were lots of other kids already in the water to lure him in to the fun). Since I had sandals and not tennis shoes on I was the chosen one to go in with him. It was fun to watch him jump off the rock, watch the minnows swim, and just enjoy being a boy.
