We had a combo party for both Nathan and Luke last night at the park near our house. The theme was "music" because that is the big thing here at our house. Nathan loves to play the drums with his daddy in the basement and when daddy isn't home he turns anything and EVERYTHING into a set of drums and/or drumsticks. Luke loves to get in on the show as well and bobs back and forth when a familiar song comes on. As far as the party goes, both boys had guitar shirts made by my friend Shireen(she also made Luke's birthday bib); the cupcakes sat in Dan's guitar case, and my homemade(meaning not the neatest) drum cookies were served on cymbals. The party favors were inflatable guitars and the bigger kids had a scratch off guitar craft. The kids listend to music and played on the park's playground. We were so thankful the rain held off(it was touch and go there for awhile). I'm not sure who had more fun; the kids, or me planning and putting it together and then getting to see a bunch of friends. Thanks to all who were able to come celebrate our boys with us.
