This week we had fun learning about the letter "B". We read books about Butterflies, Bubbles, and Blueberries and had 3 crafts to go along with the books. We also practiced tracing the letter B with Bubble liquid and paint. This letter proved to be much more difficult for Nathan to conceptualize and to trace on his own but we had fun trying. The books we read and enjoyed included: Butterflies to Caterpillars(hope to use this one again for the letter "C"), Bubbles, Bubbles, Blueberries for Sal, Bats on Parade, and Big Red Barn. We also made blueberry muffins which was a huge hit for all of us. Nathan seemed to like the Blueberry craft, making our own bubble liguid, and tracing the B with the bubble soap. This was soon followed by finger painting with the soap which soon turned into an entire table, and floor covered in soap (good time to mop i guess).
