We had fun with the Letter "C" this week. The books we enjoyed were: The Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle, Carrot(about a Cat Named Carrot), The Christmas Cricket, Cranes, Counting Crocodiles(A New Favorite of ours), and we pulled back out the Hungry Little Caterpillar which inspired our craft. We did more finger painting of the letters which of course turned into abstract full uppper body painting; our Caterpillar craft out of colored balls; baked chocolate chip cookies (forgot to take pics); played with our big box of letter magnets(my goal was to sort all the As,Bs,and Cs but my 3 year old Nathan wasn't so much into that so we just sorted out whatever letters he was into and practiced their sounds); and he even came up with making his trains into a Letter "C". Our Bible verse this week is Colossians 3:20 "Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord."
