We had an incredible Halloween this year. Our dear friends allowed us to come over to their neighborhood block party and trick-or-treat over there. It was a perfect set-up: we had dinner at their house, took pics, and then took all the kiddos in wagaons to the end of the street. After we visited for a little while the kids were hot get some candy. They were truly so cute because they were so excited just to say trick or treat and would be so thankful for even the smallest piece.
Nathan was Superman which was a last minute decision. We all had cow costumes borrowed from friends and he had even tried his on and liked it. But about a week before he came home from school saying "I cant wait to be Superman for Halloween." I tried to not bring it up but he talked about it non-stop. Thankfully, Karen had superman pjs, and Dana had a cape. And Im so glad he got to be superman because he truly embraced it the whole night. Luke was a sweet little cow. This is the first year we actually went trick-or-treating and im so excited for the years to come.
