Recently Nathan has really gotten into Racing (loves Lightening Mcqueen, the movie Cars(even though he has only seen about the first 40 minutes), Nascar on TV, etc). So this weekend when my parents were in town we took them to the bike trail near our house and Nathan loved having Papa be the announcer for all his races. He wanted the full introduction… “Gentlemen start your engines”, the lap by lap leaders, and the checkered flag. It was hilarious but so much fun.
Hiking on the trail next to the bike path and playing on the playground. I love the pics of Luke and Grammy hand in hand on the trail and the one of Nathan looking up at Papa with such delight in the big rock Papa gave him to throw. Also laugh at Nathan standing on the stumps which caused Luke to try the same thing but he chose the skinniest one which made it quite difficult.
