We don’t really have a ton of Christmas decorations that had to be put up but it still took 3 different attempts to get everything up. The Sunday after Thanksgiving Dan and I brought everything down from the attic and thought the boys would have a great time looking at all the stuff in the boxes and even if they weren’t helping we thought they would at least be interested. They were for about 2 1/2 minutes. After that they both must have taken a hyper-pill because they were literally running in circles around the house. I was trying to get stuff out and have Dan help me put things up but it was to no avail. So the next day when Luke was sleeping Nathan and I hung all the decorations in peace and actually enjoyed ourselves. When Luke woke up (notice his bed head) he was delighted to see a fully decorated tree. His favorite ornament was a Starbucks coffee cup ornament my friend Karen gave me several years ago. He loved to pretend he was drinking hot coffee from it. He would blow it and then pretend to take small sips.
And they have both been playing with the non-breakable nativity set. Luke was determined to get Jesus to fit just right in the manger.
