We took a small detour on our way back from the lake last week and stopped at this quaint town called Mooresville, AL. It was picture perfect, literally. As a photographer, I was just drooling. Of course my kids get sick of the camera fairly early so I had to just choose a couple locations but seriously this place was gorgeous. It is the oldest town in the state of Alabama and has the original post office, an old tavern and barn, the quintessential country store, long drives with picket fences and sweeping trees, and a horse farm. The boys are decked out in their seersucker pants and sipping lemonade from mason jars. Nothing could be more southern!
