The week of Christmas didn’t start off as planned because 3 out of the 4 of us got the stomach bug, but thankfully it passed and our house got a major clean-up. We packed and then un-packed twice to go to Huntsville, but we never made it up there. Thankfully after lots of deep cleaning my parents were sweet enough to come down here and by the grace of God they didn’t catch the bug. Some highlights were that we did get to go to our church’s Christmas Eve service, and we did split up the presents to 2 different days. And when my parents got here it was all fun; they brought lots of great gifts, my mom and brother cooked up delicious foods (and even left most of the leftovers with us), and we got to go out hiking 2 days in a row. It turned out to be a very fun, and meaningful Christmas celebrating our Savior’s birth!
