Chez FonFon Take Two

 

 

 

 

If yall have read any of my previous posts you will remeber that about 2 months ago my brother came into town to take us to Chez FonFon in 5 points. We ended up not getting to actually eat there because the wait was over an hour and we had Nathan with us. So this past Saturday night it was Chez FonFon Take Two (same outfits and all). This time my parents stayed home to watch Nathan and we went at 5:30 so we actually got to dine in this time. We all enjoyed the food, ambiance, and time together. We started with a salad of arugula, fennel, and blue cheese and then I ordered beef short ribs which came over mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms and red peppers, Dan got Steak frites which is just fancy for steak and fries, and my brother got trout with a cream and caper sauce. To finish it off i got the coconut cake, dan got the strawberry cheesecake cake, and my brother got the chocolate pistachio tartine. On a side note, Nathan didnt even noticed we were gone so Grandma and Grandpa Mack must have the touch!
