Our verse this week was a classic and I'm so glad Nathan got to start learning this verse. It was longer than the others so he is still working on getting all the words right but it has brought up good conversations.
Jn 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not persish but have everlasting life."
Our books were: Fish Eyes, Feathers for Lunch, Froggy's First Kiss(Nathan loves the whole Froggy series), Jazz Fly(has a wonderful CD that goes along with it), The Foot book, two books about our American Flag.
The crafts we did included painting with a Feather, making an American Flag, making a Feathery bird with fake feathers glued onto construction paper, and making Fish out of triangle and oval pieces of paper and then using the hole puncher to make the eyes for the fish and then all the dots were the scales of the fish. The book Fish Eyes had all the eyes punched out like a hole punch and Nathan loved that part of the book and he really enjoyed the craft that went along with it.
