Luke 16 months

 

 

 

 

Luke turns 16 months on Monday Nov 21. The big news this month is that he is walking!!! YAY! He has been taking a couple steps here and there for almost a week but it wasn't until last weekend that he decided he could actually cover some ground in an upright position. He is still quite wobbly and if he gets frustrated he will get down and do his ever famous "speed-crawl". Two other funny things he has been doing is sticking his tongue out and then laughing. This started when he was crying on the changing table one day and i started making funny faces at him and sticking my tongue out. He got the biggest kick out of that and has been doing it ever since. Nathan dies laughing every time he does it too which then makes us all laugh. He has also become even more attached to what we call his wooby, which is just an old t-shirt of mine(he has several that we rotate). He used to just have them in bed but now he insists you get them out of his crib when you get him out and he drags them around everywhere. I think this habit will soon need to broken for cleanliness reasons. He still eats just about anything and takes a good afternoon nap. He continues to be very clingy and especially to me, but Im not really complaining. This month has also brought out some more words, he can now say: momma, dadda, ball, baby, moon, hi, and wa(water). He definitely loves to get into some trouble but every day Dan and I just look at him and say we just love this little one. We are completely smitten!!!
