One of our favorite spots in Birmingham has got to be Aldridge Gardens. Yes, I am still a little mad at them because they now close the gates at 5pm so that means no dinner time picnics or fabulous evening sun….but we do love going during the day so much that it. BEWARE: lots of pictures.
Hey, that should be the title of my blog because that’s usually the case for every post… way too many pics.
Nathan found a cracked bird egg that he was fascinated with but I strongly emphasized NO TOUCHING so he picked it up with a stick. Works for me.
2nd pic is Nathan trying to catch the rain as it started sprinkling.
In the first pic Nathan said he was going to be “like Papa” and teach the froggie how to fish. Then we brought our butterfly net along but little brother tore it rather quickly; but that just made it more fun. Lastly, Nathan the duck to give him a ride. This boy is sure full of silliness and imagination.
A week later we went with some friends who also have two boys. If 2 boys isn’t fun enough for you then 4 boys is a ball of fun. Actually these boys play really well together and their mom is real cool (and loves photography so we could talk for days).
